Adam Savage’s 1000-Shot NERF Blaster Is Savage

Adam Savage needs no introduction, and his creations over at Tested.com have reached legendary status. While much of his content is behind a paywall, he does share some for free, and lucky us, we get to see this awesome Adam Savage NERF mod.

Our favorite (or one of them, at least) nerd might have outdone himself in the NERF department this time. In one day, Mr. Savage was able to transform a regular NERF Rival Nemesis blaster into a one-man platoon. From the original 100-ball magazine, he made a 1,000-ball one. If that does not qualify him for a medal, then we don’t know what does! And while we’re not quite sure how he managed, but he sure got the balls to get the work done.

Adam picks up a NERF Rival Nemesis blaster, and upgrades it with a custom magazine to hold a THOUSAND soft plastic NERF balls. Watch as Adam builds the new magazine from scratch, uses kit-bashing to detail the blaster, and adds more upgrades like the bi-pod and laser. And to test this massive rig, Adam sets his sights on some prehistoric prey! Life finds a way!
