All Your Simpsons GIF Are Belong to GIPHY
In the very near future, that is. GIFs have become all the rage, and the hype is not going to stop anytime soon. In fact, signs point to GIFs becoming the next big thing in online communication. Just like with emoji GIFs are a great way to reply to messages when you either don’t have the words to express yourself, or you feel like being a smartass.
GIPHY is everyone’s go-to “source for the best & newest GIFs & Animated Stickers online. Find everything from funny GIFs, reaction GIFs, unique GIFs and more.” Simple copywriting, that is, but it’s quite accurate.
And now, they’re going to have all the Simpsons GIFs licensed – from all the 593 episodes of the show.
I know you’re thinking, “What’s the difference? We can find a Simpsons GIF we need for any occasion.”
This time, it’s official. And GIPHY is going to create original GIFs based on their deals.

Giphy co-founder and CEO Alex Chung says they’ll have “every GIFable Simpsons moment,” fully licensed for distribution, tagged with the best metadata professional editorial minds can devise.
They’re not going to stop there. They already have plans – or ongoing deals – with sports and entertainment companies. They also have launched their own keyboard.
