The Making Stuff channel on YouTube consistently serves up awesome DIY projects, and boy, some of them will keep you busy for quite a while.
Recently, they uploaded a video showing how they made a DIY Star Wars Lightsaber Pen using a metalworking lathe, aluminum, and an acrylic pen blank.
Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it?
I have to say it, though – this project isn’t for those who have no experience at all.
If you watch the video, you’ll see that you at least need to know how to work a lathe. Working with aluminum may not be as straightforward as you think, too.
