$5000 Will Get You This Gold Nintendo Console
So you think having your good old NES from back in the day is super cool? Yeah, well, it is super cool, but this 24k gold NES is something else.
Created by Analogue, this gold Nintendo console is called Analogue Nt and is basically a beautified console for those who like bling and have the money to spare.
Now, don’t get me wrong. Owning of these babies would be pretty nice, but with the price tag of $4,999, well…that kind of changes things.
Analogue says that they created this console in line with the 30th anniversary of Legend of Zelda. Because Legend of Zelda and gold are connected.
In any case, the Analogue Nt is 24k gold plated (the enclosure is aluminium), with every unit coming with an original, also gold-colored Legend of Zelda cartridge.
The console is going to be a limited edition, naturally, with only 10 units being produced.
I say don’t judge a console by its plating, but the Analogue Nt’s innards don’t look bad either.
And, you know how clear PC cases are so awesome because you can see the board and wires? With the Analogue Nt, you can do the same – at least from the bottom, since the unit has a transparent base plate. It’s not too handy, though, I have to admit. Who wants to turn their gaming console over just to admire its insides?
