Grumpy Cat Is Grumpy; Wants $600k for Pirated Coffee

I hate to burst your bubble, though, but I doubt you’ll ever reach the status of Grumpy Cat. Not in a million years (although cats may have evolved into something else by then).

Who can claim to have his own website with the tagline “The world’s grumpiest cat!“?.

Grumpy Cat, of course.

There’s even a shop where you can buy “terrible things”. Man, don’t you wish you’d thought of this first?

Grumpy Cat may not be everywhere as she used to, but she’s still the Queen, and now her wrath is being unleashed. Most of the time, you can do what you want, and she’ll just stare you down.

However, this time, she’s going a step further. She’s asking for $600,000 – or at least her owners are.

One of the lines of revenues Grumpy Cat has made her owners is a line of coffee licensed to Grenade Beverage.

Looking deeper into the news, it seems that it’s not really a case of Grumpy Cat pirated coffee. The coffee maker has the license. It was a matter of the cat’s owner claiming that the coffee maker has overstepped the licensing agreement by creating a new line of coffee apart from the original “GRUMPPUCCINO” the two companies had agreed on.

Right now, they’re still in the middle of a catfight (yeah, I went there).
