How so? Well, the LEGO Leica Rangefinder Camera is for real. It does exist and costs only $45. 

On the other hand, the LEGO Leica Rangefinder Camera was released as a limited edition, so it is not available from official channels anymore. Still, we’re pretty sure you can find some units available for sale on eBay or other specialty sites.

If you’re a true blue LEGO and photography fan, you surely won’t be deterred by the fact that LEICA has run out of stock, yes?

The LEGO Leica Rangefinder Camera comes in two models – black & gray and brown & gray.

It is a toy, but it does have a functioning viewfinder. Weighing 2 ounces and measuring 3×2 inches, the LEGO Leica Rangefinder Camera was designed by Chris McVeigh. The kit consists of 120 pieces, and you have the pleasure of putting it together. While it doesn’t come with build instructions, if you don’t feel like going it alone, you can find help online.
