Play NES Games in 3D With This New Emulator
Rewind to 1983 when the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES to all of us) was released. If you were a kid back then – and you were lucky enough to have one at home – you probably thought that the NES was God’s gift to mankind. And it probably is, in a way.
Fast forward to 2016, when video game consoles are more powerful than some laptops and PCs. When mobile devices can be just as powerful (or almost).
Why would anyone want to play NES games in this day and age?
Do I really have to answer that?
The mere idea of a new emulator that will allow you to play NES games in 3D does not need any explanation. It’s just pure fun.
A discussion thread on Reddit, highlights the implications of the emulator and how it can actually work – the project is in beta at the moment.
There are some who think that it won’t work, or that the idea is stupid, but there will always be disagreements.
Watch the video for yourself, see how the emulator is supposed to work and then be the judge.
