Check Out the Drool-worthy Porsche 911 GT3 RS LEGO Set
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS LEGO Set will make you sit up and take notice, even if you haven’t seen the finished product yet. The name speaks for itself, but when you find out the details, you’ll be blown away – even if you’re not much of a car enthusiast.
Not sure how the set compares to the real deal?
Here’s the car from the Porsche website.
Built with 2,704 LEGO pieces, the set joins the Technic line, making this “toy” truly one for the big boys. Accompanying the set is an instruction manual, which is about an inch thick.
Yup. That’s how complicated it is. (As if you haven’t figured that out with one look at the car!)
More than the number and complexity of the build, an interesting tidbit is that LEGO worked directly with Porsche to create the set, and it took them three years to come up with the final product. Then again, one would expect a collaboration to create something this impressive.
AFOLs would be drooling at this point, but there is more.
Once assembled, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS LEGO Set is meant to be played with – lovingly. The doors, engine compartment, and front lids open. The wing at the rear is adjustable.
This car is lovely right down to the last detail – from the dual-clutch transmission to the paddle shifters to the steering wheel – and then some.
