Raspberry Pi 2 Is Here, and It Runs Windows 10
When talk about the Raspberry Pi first came out, there were many naysayers. How could it be possible to create a teeny weeny computer at $35?
The Raspberry Pi Foundation proved those naysayers wrong a couple of years ago with the Raspberry Pi Model B, and they continue to deliver. The Raspberry Pi 2 is available for purchase now, and it still is at $35!
The Raspberry Pi 2 has the following features:
- A 900MHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU (~6x performance)
- 1GB LPDDR2 SDRAM (2x memory)
- Complete compatibility with Raspberry Pi 1
Based on the announcement post, “because it has an ARMv7 processor, it can run the full range of ARM GNU/Linux distributions, including Snappy Ubuntu Core, as well as Microsoft Windows 10.”
What are you waiting for? This is your chance to have a more powerful, very cheap computer to play with. Think of the endless possibilities…
