Star Wars Galactic Snackin’ Grogu Is This Year’s Toy

You know how, every year, there is that one toy that every kid must have for Christmas? Teddy Ruxpin, Rubik’s Cube, Tickle Me Elmo, Simon – we can go on and on. This year, it is going to be this Star Wars Galactic Snackin’ Grogu.

Better known to the masses as the Child, Grogu has got Star Wars fans (and non-fans, in all likelihood) tickled pink. We have seen a host of merchandise featuring the Child, but they don’t hold a candle to Snackin’ Grogu.

This baby – quite literally one, too – is an animatronic toy, all 9.25 inches of him full of cuteness. It’s got more than 40 sound and motion combinations and also comes with interactive accessories. Before we drill down on what you get, check him out, and prepare to fall in love.

Snackin’ Grogu comes with 4 interactive accessories (bowl with tentacles, cookie, shifter knob, and spoon). When placed in his hand, he will display various reactions and effects. The toy features motorized movements – his head, ears, and arms move AND his eyes open and close.

If you ignore him for too long, Snackin’ Grogu will let you know that he needs attention and that you need to pick him up. How? Those tiny arms will reach out to you and you won’t be able to ignore him.

He can also channel the Force – you just need to pat his head three times to activate the 2-handed Force animation.
