We’re all into zombies and the zombiecalypse in varying degrees. There are those who think it will happen but don’t make any preparations – maybe because they don’t really think it will happen?
Then there are those hardcore survivalists who have bunkers ready, all filled up with food, water, and other provisions that will last them forever (even if the end of the world is not about zombies).
But most of the time, the focus is on people – quite naturally.
In this short film about the zombiecalypse, the protagonist is not a human individual nor a group of them. It’s all about Stanley the dog, who gets left behind as the zombiecalypse begins and wants nothing more than to be reunited with his owner.
Steadfast Stanley is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi – so cute that you root for him all the way. Steadfast Stanley isn’t a new film, but if you haven’t seen it, you’re missing out on a lot. And, even if you have seen it before, it’s always worth a re-watch.
