Star Wars Goes Steampunk

Star Wars Goes Steampunk

Bjorn Hurri

The fervor of Star Wars fans is hard to beat, but steampunk enthusiasts just might give them a run for their money. Now what if the two come together in steampunk Star Wars?

That’s exactly what artist Bjorn Hurri has done. Hurri is a well known concept artist, born in Sweden and now a Londoner. He’s got a whole range of artwork, but his steampunk Star Wars collection will make you go “Wow!” for sure.

Here’s a peek.

Take a close look and appreciate the details. It might not be wrong to say that R2D2 has never looked this good.

Steampunk Jawa

Can you imagine this as an action figure/toy? That would sure fetch a high price.

Steampunk Stormtrooper

Well, well, well. What do we have here? I wonder if this Stormtrooper has better aim?

Steampunk Luke Skywalker

So I’m not a huge Luke Skywalker fan (no death threats, please!), that’s why I’m going to ask you guys. What do you think of this rendition?

Steampunk Yoda

Naturally, this won’t be complete without Yoda.

The above is but a sampling of Bjorn Hurri’s work, though. And if you want to see the steampunk versions of Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and more, visit his web site.
