Thanks to an enthusiastic, brilliant, presumably Hunter S. Thompson fan, Alyx Baldwin, we have a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas board game.

The piece de resistance: a suitcase well-stocked with pills, drugs, and paraphernalia. All in compliance with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

You’ve got phenethylamines, tryptamines, stimulants, depressants, and hallucinogens (unclassified, mind you). Of course, you’ve got petri dishes, inhalants, empty gel caps, a shot glass, lighters, and sugar cubes (for absinthe). And, because it’s a board game, there are Challenge, Does, and Adventure Cards.

Pretty cool, yes? But how do you play the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas board game? Instructions are below.

It’s been around for a while and is not available commercially, so you’ll have to dig deep and use this as inspiration to create your own version. Who knows, you might even outdo the original?
