This Is How Beardless Kratos Looks

Ask a console gamer for a list of his top video games, and the chances are that you’ll see God of War in most lists. That’s because Kratos. Yup, that guy with the beard and markings on his face…so iconic. But what if we had a beardless Kratos?

Whaaat?

Yeah, I know how you’re feeling, but you read it right. A beardless Kratos exists in this timeline, this universe. (And who’s to say that in another universe or timeline, that’s how Kratos looked in the first place?).

While all your cells in your body might be screaming “sacrilege” at the mere thought, you have to admit that the dude probably didn’t have that gorgeous facial hair in his pre-puberty life.

Well, we can thank PC modders for this travesty. Or maybe we’re overreacting…

With God of War being ported to PC (get it on Steam, if you haven’t yet), the game has been at the mercy of modders. Now, don’t get us wrong. Nothing against modders here — in fact, they can be credited for some of the best things we see online.

Then again, could be just how weird beardless Kratos is.
