This Video of a Twitch Streamer Who Fell Asleep Is Endearing

Twitch has created a world of its own, and it has given birth to its fair share of weird, even controversial, occurrences. This week, a Twitch streamer inadvertently gave us something endearing. For a moment, you can forget some of the awful stuff you’ve seen online.

Twitch streamer JesseDStreams didn’t really set out to create waves, nor did he probably mean to fall asleep while broadcasting. After all, a gamer falling asleep in front of his console – there are probably hundreds of them as I write…

So what makes JesseDStreams’ on air nap (a 2-hour or so nap) special?

His waking up. Waking up to 200 viewers, that is. Viewers having a bit of fun.

Thanks to his falling asleep – and eventually waking up so adorkably – his active chat has had more than a million views and his followers have grown from fewer than 100 to more than 1,000!
