Three Whole Minutes of Tormund Flirting With Brienne

Spoiler alert: If you haven’t started watching Season 8, it’s best to save this for later.

Brienne of Tarth was an immediate hit, both on the screen and in the books. With just the right amount of self-deprecation and a sense of loyalty that surpasses most anything else, Brienne commands both respect and affection. Her dedication to keeping the Stark girls safe helps her case a ton, too. Without a doubt, she is one of the most loved Game of Thrones character.

And then Tormund Giantsbane enters the picture. If there was a character created to fit Brienne, it’s the not-so-gentle but adorable giant. From the first moment he laid his eyes on her, the poor man was besotted.

Unfortunately for the lovestruck ginger, Brienne doesn’t really seem to be interested. No matter how (un) subtle Tormund is, Brienne doesn’t do more than roll her eyes. Whether it’s because Tormund’s just not her type or Jaime owns her heart…let’s just leave that there.

The wildling is not one to give up easily, though, as we’ve seen. From looks to outright (non) conversations, Tormund grabs every opportunity he gets to flirt with Brienne.

With the plethora of characters in the series, however, the “couple” do not get as much screen time as we’d like. We only get bits and pieces, a taste here and there.

Thanks to Supercuts Delight, though, we can now enjoy a full three minutes of Tormund and Brienne flirting. Or, rather, Tormund flirting with Brienne. With her reactions – or lack thereof – the result is pure hilarity. At least on our part. We’re pretty sure Tormund isn’t as amused.
