Get Your Fix From This Aliens PEZ Dispenser

What better way to get your candy fix than from an Aliens PEZ Dispenser, right?

Doesn’t that just make your heart pound and your blood rush to your head? Unfortunately, folks there is no such thing. You can search the all over the world and probably find Waldo, but when it comes to this Aliens PEZ Dispenser…well, the cake is a lie.

Lie or not, the Dispenser is such a brilliant idea that it really isn’t new. It made the rounds several years back, and it looked a tad different.

This version is attributed to Peter “Rat D” Davidson who came up with the idea to excite Aliens and PEZ fans. Since it’s not something you can buy off the shelves, though, you can either thank him or curse him for getting your hopes up. I don’t know about you, but I’m going for the latter. If I fell for it (I may or may not have), a good laugh is always welcome.

What’s really silly is the “new” Aliens PEZ Dispenser that’s been posted on Reddit recently. As you can see in the first image above, some Photoshopping design changes have been made. While the idea is still awesome – PEZ, listen and make one already! – Redditors were quick to jump in as usual.

As user shittymorph says, “I collect Pez dispensers and this is not an actual unit. I have seen most of the units in circulation and the tongue portion in this picture is photo shopped on. I have all Pez dispensers in circulation except for 12 of them and I even have a sizable collection of bootlegs. This is absolutely a fake – the Alien unit this image was based on was released sometime around nineteen ninety eight…”

Matter settled. It’s a fake. We still want one.

If PEZ can make sets for Angry Birds and Trolls, it surely can make one for Aliens, right? So who wants to start a Change.org petition?
