Check Out the World’s Largest Real 3D-Printed Fidget Spinner!

fidget spinners

Fidget spinners have taken the world by storm recently. They’ve even been called the hula hoop of Generation Z. However, I honestly don’t get it. Perhaps I have to try it out for myself to understand.

In any case, fidget spinners have been around for a while but mainly as tools for dealing with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, and autism. Learn more here.

While the phenomenon has gone beyond that, its proponents declare that they do help people who play with the fidget spinners relax. Basically, they still serve their original function – whether that’s the intent of the player or not.

You may or may not buy into the hype of fidget spinners, but there’s no stopping it (at the moment at least). In fact, manufacturers are jumping on it, cashing out as much as they can before the trend dies down. There have been sightings of unlicensed “branded” toys – probably Disney-inspired.

Cool those branded spinners may be, here’s something better – a 3D-printed fidget spinner.

And it’s not just any 3D-printed fidget spinner. It’s the world’s largest! (We have to admit that this may not be case for long. You know – my 3D-printed fidget spinner is bigger than yours…)

This spinner was made using a huge Prenta M3 3D printer, and it’s for real. It works, but you may have to use a little more muscle to play with it.

Check it out.
