Check Out Samurai Spider-Man
Superheroes have their own iconic look, but artistic freedom has always been applied throughout the decades. Whether it’s DC or Marvel, the logos, costumes, and even facial elements of superheroes (and villains) have undergone changes.
Recently, a Movie Realization Spider-Man image found its way to the Internet.
Posted in a forum, this Samurai Spider-Man has elicited mixed reactions.
Original spotter, Twitter user Den-Obi-Wan Kenobi thinks it’s awesome…

While other fans don’t think it works.
We’ve seen a host of Spider-Man suits, from the traditional red and blue one which everyone knows to the Symbiote Suit, which is rather kickass, but evil.
Then there’s his Black Cloth Suit, which is similar to the Symbiote Suit in looks, but “harmless”.
This new Samurai Spider-Man, however, is an action figure of a different class.
No one can argue that Samurais are awesome. Spidey fans will defend their superhero to the max.
But does the juxtaposition work?
Not really being a Spider-Man fan, I have to say that it looks forced. It looks awkward. Like Trivial Psychic says in the forum, they “should have made Spider-Man a ninja. While he’s not an assassin, I can imagine he does everything a ninja does (like wall running and climbing, grappling hook type swings, agile fighting, etc…)”.
How about you? Does this work or not?
