Creepy Real-Life LEGO MiniFig Cosplay Is Creepy
Did I already say creepy?
But how could any negative word can be used in association with LEGO? Or LEGO minifigs?
I mean, everything is awesome!
Then I saw this real-life LEGO minifig cosplay. My world turned upside down. Or, I got creeped out of my skin is more like it.
The real-life LEGO minifig was seen roaming the halls of this year’s SDCC, catching the attention of everyone in its path. Or even way out of its path.
The costume is the project of Tested and was designed by Frank Ippolito of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” fame. Every year, he shows off his creations at comic-con, and this LEGO minifig is but another testament to the guy’s talent.
Before seeing this “thing”, I’d describe minifigs as “cute”, “bada$$”, or any other adjective. Except creepy.
Enter the guys of Tested.
As they say themselves, their creation is an intersection of creepy and amazing. I can just imagine the amount of work that went into the making of this 14-lb mask. Yes, 14 pounds! And all that created in just a week.
Oh, and you know what its name is?
Watch and meet creeppyfig.
Believe me now?
Which part of creeppyfig creeped you out the most? Skin? Eyes? Fingers (if you can call them that)?
P.S. Creepy he may look, but he’s got a sense of humor. And he’s awesome with kids. High five, creeppyfig!
