Our Favorite Superheroes Re-imagined in Ways You Wouldn’t Have Expected

We all have our favorite superheroes – and villains – and I am pretty sure being fans, you appreciate awesome fan art as well. Today, you’re going to discover the work of Marco d’Alfonso of Toronto, Canada. This guy is not just a huge fan, but he has also worked with/for big names in the industry – Hasbro, GI Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, and Marvel, among others.

While there are quite a lot of superhero fan art out there, these superheroes re-imagined by d’Alfonso are something else.

Bruce Wayne

If Bruce Wayne were to have a soundtrack of his life, wouldn’t this be quite a fit? I won’t tell you how long I spent imagining the lyrics and melody of the songs…

Harley Quinn Romance

Harley Quinn and Deadpool as a couple – now that’s a mindbender right there. I wonder what Nicholas Sparks has to say about this?

Deadpool

Don’t you just envy Deadpool for this?

Hulk Brothers

I do think this is the most hilarious of the bunch, just because I keep imagine what happens next. Oh, and yellow-blue polka dot umbrella!

Joker

The Joker is probably at the top of the list of everyone’s most loved villains, and I think this illustration captures his indescribable character as best possible. What do you think?

Cap

To be honest, I don’t know anyone who really likes Captain America, but I just had to include this image, thanks to the caption.

Like Marco d’Alfonso’s art? This is just the tip of the iceberg. See more here.
