No brainer answer: hot, crunchy fries.

There are times, though, when you just one a bag of french fries without the added calorie bomb of a burger. A quick snack to get you through. But you don’t want to wait in line at McDonald’s or Burger King.

What to do?

Go to a fries vending machine and satisfy your craving!

A bunch of students from Wageningen University must be great lovers of fries, so they’ve come up with a fries vending machine. While it’s still a prototype, the idea is brilliant, albeit probably not so healthy.

The machine works much like any other vending machine we know. You pay via a slot. Choose the dip you prefer – you can choose from mayonnaise, ketchup, or curry. You then have to wait just a few minutes, and then voila, you have a tub of hot, crunchy fries.

No hassle of queuing up at a fast-food store. No waiting behind that dude who is ordering for a group of 10. No nothing. Just french fries hot off the deep fryer.

Isn’t your mouth watering already?

It is a pity the machine is still only a prototype, but the students do have plans to turn it into reality. News is that some business people are already sold into the idea – no surprise there as this has lots of potential to make big money.

So, hang in there. We just might have a fries vending machine around the corner soon. Cross your fingers!
