Have a Spirit Taste Test With Burger King’s Ghost Whopper
Burger King is taking Halloween seriously, and they’re doing it with a whole lot of spook. Your eyes and tastebuds are going to enjoy the burger chain’s newest special edition sandwich, the Ghost Whopper.
Real ghosts may be intangible, and only a select few can see them, but the Ghost Whopper is far from that. While the spooky season is in full swing, anyone can grab a Ghost Whopper and fill up their stomach real good. Well, everyone who can visit any of the 10 restaurants across the United States which will be selling the limited-edition burger.
Now, we’re not trying to be downers here, but you ought to know that the Ghost Whopper will not gross you out in true Halloween ghoulish fashion. It does look a tad weird compared to the normal Whopper because of the sesame seed bun which is white cheddar cheese-flavored AND colored.
But that’s about it. It does have the “ghosty” look, but the patty and fixins are all there – a quarter-pound of flame-grilled beef, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles, and white onions.
As exciting as limited-edition themed fast food items always are (at least that’s the way we see it), the Ghost Whopper isn’t for everyone. Burger King conducted their own Spirit Taste Test, and some people were not too happy with it.
The Halloween burger will be available starting today for $4.59 a pop. So who’s interested? Here’s the list of stores you can visit.
