Have an End of Summer Sleepover at The Last BLOCKBUSTER

Are you going stir crazy with all the restrictions on travel? You are not alone, that’s for sure, but if you’re in or near the Deschutes County, Bend, Oregon, you have something to look forward to in the very near future – an end of summer sleepover at the last BLOCKBUSTER on earth.

Kids may not pay any attention to that statement, but if you’re old enough to have sweet memories of the days when not everything was easily accessible thanks to the internet, then you are surely wanting to spend a night at the last BLOCKBUSTER in existence.

In an Airbnb listing, host Sandi Harding is offering three one-night stays. She is the manager of the last BLOCKBUSTER store, and in an attempt to keep the love for traditional movie stores alive, she is putting up the store for special stays.

On August 17, 1 PM PT (set your reminders!), you can request to book a one-night stay. Available dates are September 18, 19, and 20. A booking allows a maximum of four lucky people who can do whatever they want inside the store during their stay. Watch movies, eat popcorn and NERDS, play video games, pretend you’re in a movie where you get stuck inside a huge store…whatever you want!

There is Wi-Fi, of course, so you can make the movie-loving world envious by bombarding everyone with photos and videos on social media.

Get ready!
