World’s Largest LEGO Caravan – and It Works, Too!
Here at GeekSupply, we’re huge fans of LEGO. After all, LEGO is all about DIY and creativity – things that we stand for.
So, when we discovered this caravan made out of LEGO, we simply had to take a look. Considered to be the world’s largest LEGO caravan (how many people would build a LEGO caravan?), this marvel of a creation impresses even more because it actually works.
Yes. It is functional – to a certain degree.
How functional is it, you may ask.
How about tables and seats inside which can be converted to a bed? How about running water? Electric lights? Toothbrushes? Oh, and a chess set so you won’t get bored while on the road.
Does that work for you? Of course, a (working) cooker would be nice (it has a simulated one), but the LEGO bricks might not agree with that. It does have all the interior details right, though.
There’s even a fridge to store your grub in.
And, yes, it is the world’s largest LEGO caravan, as the Guinness World Records will attest to. With 215, 158 bricks, more than 1,000 hours, and 12 weeks put into the motorhome, it deserves the recognition!
Measuring in at 2.2 meters tall and 2.6 meters long, the caravan was built by 12 professional builders.
Here’s a time-lapse video of the world’s largest LEGO caravan. Amazing!
