Tell Sony What PS2 Games You Want on the PS4
The PlayStation 4 is truly an awesome beast, but hardcore gamers who have been at it for years – decades? – have a special love for the PS2 for sure.
This is especially heightened by the fact that PS2 games are not playable on the PS4. You can’t deny that some of the best times you’ve spent in your bedroom (or basement, whatever the case may be) are the times playing games on your PS2.
As IGN aptly says:
Sony’s PlayStation 2 is one of the greatest video game consoles of all time. Not only has it built up a tremendous library of software over the years, but it’s also sold more than 145 million units worldwide – more than any other console to date.
With classic titles such as God of War, Grand Theft Auto III, Guitar Hero (oh how I miss this), Max Payne, and Silent Hill (among so many others), PS2 games on PS4 consoles would make many a gamer feel like they’ve died and gone to heaven.
Earlier this year, Wired confirmed that Sony is bringing PS2 emulation to PS4, so this tweet from PlayStation Worldwide Studio’s Dave Thach isn’t that much of a surprise.
Loving all the PS2 on PS4 feedback! Use #ps2ps4 for your wish list suggestions so we can easily aggregate them all. We are listening…
