Satisfy Your Need for Speed With This DIY Coke Can F1 Car

What do you get when you have a Formula 1 fan who drinks a lot of Coca-Cola (can)?

A DIY Coke can F1 car. So we presume.

The Q is a YouTube channel known for its unique DIY projects and boasts almost 4 million subscribers. With this latest project, we totally understand the reason for that figure.

Armed with Coke and Coke Light cans, PVC pipes, and glue, The Q built this impressive Coke can F1 car that would catch the eye of any racing enthusiast. We’d go as far as to say that Formula 1 drivers would want one themselves.

According to the brilliant guys who worked on the project, they spent more than 400 man hours and about 1,000 Coke cans (the caffeine fueled them through the long hours, for sure), five different types of glue, and more than 12 meters of PVC pipes.

And then there’s the math, which admittedly, we probably won’t be able to comprehend.

If you’re good with this kind of thing, though, you’ll want to watch the video and come up with your own build. You might even outdo this car, which is scaled 1.5:1. And if you feel like it, you can paint the car to match your favorite team. That’s either Red Bull or Ferrari for us.

We can totally see Daniel Ricciardo posing with the car with his signature grin.
