Step Up With These Skywalker Lightsaber Lace Up Heels
The Star Wars fever is nearing its peak as the release of the latest movie in the franchise comes ever closer. From fan-made videos to fan art to all sorts of merchandise – Star Wars is everywhere!
Of course, there are shoes.
Footwear brand Irregular Choice hasn’t overlooked this Star Wars obsession, and they have created a special limited edition pair dubbed “Skywalker Lightsaber Lace Up Heels”.
You’re hooked, aren’t you?
The product tagline is “Shoe or shoe not. There is no try.” but I think “Heels or heels not. There is no try.”
That’s coming from someone who has had more than her fair share of “heels horror stories”, so you know where I’m coming from.
That being said, the special edition “Skywalker Lightsaber Lace Up Heels” looks as funky as heck. So funky that it beats the crap out of fashion.
Move aside Louboutin.
Every Star Wars fan would give an arm and a leg – well, not the latter as the shoes would be useless – to have this pair.
The thing is, since it’s a branded special edition thingamajig (almost belongs to the Department of Milking it, although it does have an irresistible aura), you’re going to have to shell out quite a chunk of money. You might even have to dip into that rainy day fund.
At $322.99, the price tag of the Skywalker Lightsaber Lace Up Heels is not too bad if you’re talking designer footwear, but I wonder how the “average” Star Wars fan feel about this?
Then again, with the features that come with the shoes, it might not be too hard to justify such a purchase.
