Tastee Tape Will Take the Mess Out of Eating Burritos
Who doesn’t love a yummy, tummy-filling breakfast burrito? Or, a stuffed burrito for lunch? What about a snack? Maybe dinner. We all love burritos. Period.
But with a great burrito — for whatever meal — comes great…mess.
This is where Tastee Tape comes in.
This innovative invention makes eating burritos a less messy experience…or does it?
You can judge for yourself. We can only share the facts with you.
Tastee Tape is the brilliant creation of a bunch of students from Johns Hopkins University. Yes, they do other stuff than medical miracles over there.
In a nutshell, Tastee Tape is edible tape that will hold your burrito together, helping you avoid the mess that ensues when you take a huge bite and the wrap falls apart.
We say burritos (because we’re craving one right now), but Tastee Tape also works for gyros, wraps, and other stuff that work the same way.
The “edible” is made from food-grade fibrous scaffold and organic adhesive. Whatever that means.
What we understand — and care about — is that we won’t accidentally end up chewing Scotch tape.
This isn’t rocket science, but it took chemical and biomolecular engineering students to come up with this rather simple idea.
We don’t know about you, but we’re game to give this a try.
