This Sony Personal Wearable AC Unit Is Just What We Need
Some people are always at the perfect body temperature, but not all of us are so lucky. Personally, I am run on the hot side, especially when I am moving and it is quite annoying. So, if you’re like me, you will be perspiring (in a good way, if there ever is a good way to perspire) at the thought of having your own personal wearable AC unit.
Sure, we’ve seen wearable cooling systems before (hello, Home TV shopping), but this baby comes from a brand we all love and trust. Sony’s REON POCKET promises to be the personal wearable AC unit that we have been waiting for.
The REON POCKET is a tiny device born out of Sony’s startup acceleration program. It is the size of a credit card wallet and has Bluetooth connectivity. As such, you can connect it to your smartphone for all the bells and whistles.
Here’s the clincher.
While it is primarily meant to cool you down especially during the sweltering summer days to come, the REON POCKET can also go the other way. During winter, if you’re in desperate need of warmth, the device can also do the job.
What about the look? Obviously, no one wants to go around wearing a metallic or plastic collar or anything weird like that. Well, this may or may not make you feel better fashion-wise.
It sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Hopefully it doesn’t fail our expectations…you can check it out here.
