You Won’t Believe These Are Only Wax Figures

Wax museums are always popular with tourists, but the true measure of their success is just how realistic their figures are. Artist Bobby Causey may not be Madame Tussauds, but his wax figures are certainly hyperrealistic.

To make things even better, his wax figures feature some really geekgasmic subjects that you will either be clapping your hands in glee or you’ll be freaking out because of their realism.

Bobby Causey shared some insight into his work process with Daily Art:

“I have unorthodox techniques I use on every piece. I just know what needs to be done and I do it. What I can say for sure is, I would start with NSP [non sulfurated Plasteline] Medium Clay, a shit-load of photo reference, and a desire to sculpt the person you are going to be sculpting.”
