Affleck v Affleck: The Batman v Superman Parody

I love parodies, but right now, all I can say is that I want 1:15 minutes of my life back. Seriously.

Most Batman fans went up in arms when Ben Affleck was announced as the next Batman. The movie was doomed from the beginning, etc. etc.; and that had a ripple effect. It seemed that the movie wasn’t garnering a lot of attention – a positive one, that is. This girl wasn’t too excited about the movie either.

Then I saw the last trailer.

I thought to myself, “Yes, I think I’m interested now.” Then again, we all know that trailers are the best bits of the movie pieced together, so I might just regret my decision. I might say I want hours of my life back.

But that’s not what this post is all about. It’s about a Batman v Superman parody video pitting Affleck against himself.

Henry Cavill, where did you go?

To be fair, in the Batman v Superman parody video, Ben Affleck as Clark Kent wasn’t that bad. Of course, it being a parody means there are bad parts. I suppose it is just that small bit outside of my “parody appreciating spectrum”.

Game Over. This Guy Just Cosplayed the Heck Out of Batman.

According to The Nerdist, some of the footage showing Ben Affleck is from Hollywoodland, a 2006 movie starring Adrien Brody, Ben Affleck, and Diane Lane.

So what get in this “funny” video is a young, silly Superman in lieu of the “I can kill you with one look” Henry Cavill Supes.
