Level Up Your PlayStation 4 With Wood Paneling by TOAST
The PlayStation 4 looks great on its own but people still like to stamp their own brand on their babies, hence the popularity of skins, decals, or whatever you want to call them.
If you’re going this route, you might as well go for the best – wood paneling.
No one can deny it. There’s something about wood that takes things to a new level. Think car interior. Home library or study.
Portland-based company TOAST started out with a vision of creating wood-based products for phones, tablets, laptops, consoles, and other accessories. They first went the crowdsourcing way and after a successful Kickstarter campaign (they were able to buy their first laser, which is the main thing they needed to cut wood), they have grown to what they are today: an 11-man team working hard to bring sexy wood panels to your beloved gadgets, the PS4 being one of them.
You can choose from four variants: walnut, ash, bamboo, and ebony.
How do you get your PS 4 to look like the ones above?
First, you visit TOAST’s shop. Then you pick the product that catches your fancy. Order. Receive the paneling. Cover your PS 4.
Wait. What? You have to do it yourself?
Yeah, why not? That’s what you normally do with other skins, right?
You don’t have to worry about making a mistake and messing up your console, though. Putting on a TOAST panel is – according to its makers – “easy as playing PONG”. While their adhesives are strong, they also don’t leave any residue when the panels are removed (although why would you want to do that?).
TOAST console wood panels are also available for the PS 4 Pro, Xbox One/S, and you can have custom designs made.
