Heal Your Pain With Real-Life Dark Souls Estus
Dark Souls gives you exactly what it says on the tin – darkness and pain; well, the excruciating pain of having to play a difficult game. The intense frustration that makes you want to throw your controller at the wall (which I am sure has happened more times than one would like).
That being said, every person who has played Dark Souls loves Estus, the elixir that provides healing to anyone who drinks it.
If only we could have it in real life…
…wait!
We do have it – thanks to The Geeky Chef, who took it upon himself to create a real-life Dark Souls Estus. It may not fight the physical effects of aging (or RSI from mashing buttons or swiping too much), but it looks good enough to make you forget some of your pain. Whatever it is that’s causing it.
So, whats’s this real-life Estus?
You don’t have to wonder. Make it yourself, with the recipe from The Geeky Chef.
Ingredients
- 1 Estus Flask (glass bottle, for serving)
- 6 oz Pulp-Free Orange Juice
- 6 oz Ginger Beer
- 2 shots Cinnamon Whiskey
- 3 Ice Cubes
- Squeeze of Lemon
Directions
- Blend orange juice, lemon juice, ice and whiskey in a blender.
- Pour mixture into the serving bottle. You may need to use a funnel, depending on your bottle.
- Top off with ginger beer and try not to die.
There you have it. Whether you drink it before or after a Dark Souls session is up to you.
