Spooky Halloween Drinks for You to Enjoy
Halloween is just around the corner, and I’m pretty sure you’re getting all geared up for whatever party (or parties) you are going to. If not, then there’s no time to waste! Think of your costume – Star Trek or Star Wars is always an option, or you can look for more unusual costumes.
If you’re hosting a party, then let me help you out a bit by giving you some spooky Halloween drinks, which will ensure a night of revelry.
Spooky Halloween Drinks
Bloody Tears
What’s Halloween without blood? I’m rather faint-hearted when it comes to real blood (or TV/movie blood for that matter), but when it comes to drinks, I get my courage up. This Bloody Tears (Castlevania cocktail) recipe will make sure that everyone gets spooked and enjoy themselves at the same time.
Ingredients:
Ice
4 Raspberries
1.25 oz Gin
1 splash Chambord
1 oz Lemon juice
1 oz Grenadine
Directions: Muddle the raspberries and add all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a coupe glass. The bits of raspberry seeds and fruit are the Bloody Tears. Ask your friends “what is a man?” and serve to the first person who answers correctly (answer: “a miserable pile of secrets”)
Ghostly White Wine Spritzer
If wine is your thing, and you don’t like blood, too, then this Ghostly White Wine Spritzer will do the trick.
The recipe:
5 ounces Vinho Verde (preferred), Sauvignon Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Verdejo, Albariño or Vermentino
Tonic Water ice cubes
Place cubes in a large wine glass, pour white wine over ice and serve.
Halloween Beer
If you don’t want to make cocktails, then just go and stock up on seasonal beers.
