Science Kombat Takes Video Gaming to a Whole New Nerdy 8-Bit Level

Science Kombat Takes Video Gaming to a Whole New Nerdy 8-Bit Level

Mortal Kombat will forever be part of the lives of 90s kids, and while the game franchise continues to hook players in today, there’s nothing like the 1990s. One has to admit that Mortal Kombat X does look impressive, and it’s being received “nicely”. Then there’s Street Fighter, which also takes a special place in our hearts. (It sucks to be you if you want the latest and you don’t have a PS4 or a gaming PC.)

A walk down memory lane may seem out of place, but once you see some animations from an upcoming game, Science Kombat, you’ll probably feel a different sense of excitement. That is, if you appreciate the most brilliant minds of our time.

Science Kombat will launch in April. It gives you the chance the settle long-standing arguments between you and your friends about who is better scientist.

Pit Einstein against Tesla. Throw in Marie Curie.

With their own unique powers, you can determine who reigns supreme.

We don’t have much in terms of visuals and media yet, but artist Diego Sanches was commissioned by Superinteressante magazine to create animations to showcase what’s in store for us.

Boys and girls, meet your Science Kombat characters and their special moves.

This is the awesomeness you get when old school games and geniuses collide. Which character would you choose based on power?

(I wonder what Sheldon Cooper would have to say about this?)
