When Star Wars Meets Doraemon

Star Wars is all kids – and “kids” – talk about these days, and how can you blame them? BB8 is too cute for words, and C-3PO and R2D2 are still as charming (in their own way) as ever.

But, correct me if I’m wrong, it seems that a lot of kids these days don’t really know much about Doraemon. Or it could just be the kids I hang out with.

For our generation, however, Doraemon is a “comfort character”. One that makes you feel young and carefree.

So a Star Wars Doraemon mashup is definitely something we would want to see. (Just nod and continue reading. You won’t regret it. I promise.)

Thanks to Twitter user @momiboku, we don’t have to use our imaginations. He got R2D2 and C-3PO plastic model sets and got to work.

In order to give the droids a makeover, @momiboku stripped them of their original color using a special technique, put some touches here and there…
