Don’t Miss the Limited Edition Ghostbusters “Key Lime Slime Twinkies”!

When you go the munchies, who you gonna call?

While the plot of the soon-to-be-released Ghostbusters reboot isn’t known yet, tie ups and promotions are already happening. Case in point: Hostess Snacks’s Key Lime Slime Twinkies.

Let’s talk Twinkies. We’d fight for them today. In post-apocalypse times, we might even pay a leg and an arm (hopefully not literally), or some might even kill for them.

But since the world as we know it hasn’t ended, we don’t have to go to such extreme measures. But, boy, do these Key Lime Slime Twinkies make one’s eyebrow(s) go up. One the one hand, the mere connection to the Slimer gives the snack all the eyeballs it can get. On the other hand, it doesn’t look too appetizing, does it?

Real key lime pie looks good – although this one is worse than the Twinkies.

But what can you expect of lime slime???

We don’t know when the limited edition Ghostbusters-inspired Twinkies will hit the shelves, and I can’t find other information aside from that tweet above, but I’m sure we’ll hear about it soon enough, so keep your eyes peeled.
